- 01Functional Nutrition is a personalized, root-cause approach that focuses on understanding why your body is sending signals, rather than trying to silence symptoms. Instead of starting with protocols or quick fixes, we look at patterns across digestion, inflammation, genetic tendencies, and daily rhythms like sleep, stress, habits, and environment. This context helps reduce overwhelm and makes it clearer what actually supports your body. The goal is clarity and steadiness, not restriction or symptom-chasing, so next steps feel grounded and sustainable.
- 02My work focuses on understanding patterns across the whole system, rather than addressing symptoms in isolation. Instead of starting with a generic plan or quick advice, we look at context across digestion, inflammation load, daily rhythms, stress, and habits to better understand what your body has been responding to. I don’t diagnose or prescribe. My role is to offer education, pattern recognition, and guidance that helps you make sense of your symptoms and choose next steps with clarity. When appropriate, this work can complement care you’re already receiving from your medical team.
- 03No. I’m a Certified Functional Nutrition Counselor and an AADP Board-Certified Holistic Health Practitioner. My role is educational and collaborative, not diagnostic or prescriptive. I don’t diagnose conditions, treat disease, or prescribe medication. Instead, I help you understand patterns in your body and make informed, aligned decisions about next steps. This work is designed to complement, not replace, medical care.
- 04Yes. Many clients come to this work with existing diagnoses or while taking medications. I don’t diagnose conditions, manage disease, or make changes to medications. My role is to provide education and context, helping you understand how nutrition, daily habits, stress, and lifestyle patterns may be influencing how you feel. This work is designed to complement your medical care. Any decisions about medications or treatment should always be made with your healthcare provider.
